Google Docs

Writing & Word Processing

What I Learned

  • Google Docs is a FREE online word processor — no Microsoft Word needed

  • Everything saves automatically to Google Drive — you can't lose your work

  • You can format text with headings, bold, italics, bullet lists, and more

  • Multiple people can work on the same doc at the same time — real-time collaboration

  • You can add images, tables, and links to make your document more interesting

  • Share your document with anyone using just a link — even set it to view-only

Did you know?

Google Docs has a built-in spelling checker AND a voice typing feature — you can speak and it types for you!

My Project

I wrote this document in Google Docs for class. I used headings, text formatting, and organized my writing to make it easy to read. Check it out below — or open the full version.

If the preview is blank, make sure the document is shared to "Anyone with the link can view" in Google.
